Description

I have recentl been given the opportunity to lease this lovely girl, Cruise Control, from :decobra-farms:! So this is my first pic of her, just a nice and simply round penning before we ride! Let me know what you think!

** I know I gave her a flash instead of a Fig. 8, I'll fix that for the next drawing. ;)

Your art continues to amaze me... hm do I feel the need to repeat the gorgeousness of your style? I believe I just did XD. In your style allow me to define some stand out features, the hooves are large giving a strong and exaggerating effect. The thin pasterns help that even more! Nice with the joints that have a sneaky shape to them! The muscles have nice thick lines that match with some shading ^^. However you do it I like the way you drew the intricate design of the horse! The nice colors and how they blend...

The shading. Again. It's beauty can only be deeply seen when looking closely but from far away it's effect is still in action. You certainly were accurate, but I'm thinking you should try to do dark shading too; most of your shading is light. Also try shadows on the horse, perhaps on the legs under. Speaking of shadow no worries I will get there!

I love the expression of the horse and how you add those eyebrows!! Anyhow ahem, the tack looks wonderful, quite realistic with a touch of your style, and whether or not it was ment to, I think you added some glint of light on metal/steel parts. Looks really great!

The background is very nice; I love the rain and sky! How do you do that . The indoor little wooden (I think) bars are nicely shaded! Now for the shadow! I like how the limbs and figure of the horse is really outlined and expressed here, still with the contrasted blobby style!

Your art seems to be improving, my friend...
